Cyclists perform ballet

Cyclists are sought to perform a choreographed dance on bikes as part of the Olympic Celebrations. The team behind the touring Bicyle Ballet is looking for 100 cyclists and performers to take part in the 30 minute bike dance in Hadleigh scheduled for August. A taster session for people interested takes place this Saturday, 21st April between 2pm and 4pm at Hadleigh Old Fire Station in High Street …Hadleigh. Participants must be competent cyclists, aged over 12 and commit to a maximum of six three-hour weekly evening sessions and three weekend rehearsals. Under 16’s must be acompanied by and Adult.     As far as I know, there were still places availabale. Some of our team went along on 21st and had the most fabulous time! Further rehearsals will take place on :
    23rd June – 1st full day of rehearsals with the Chorus, rehearsal directors and choreographer
    …
    28th July – 2nd full day with the Chorus

    6 weekly sessions with the Chorus, last one session on 4th August, Mass group x 2 hrs, then run through/dress rehearsal, 11-4pm

    5th August – run through, The Shows (one or two shows)
