You can't truly know a town until you've cycled round it!
Southend is lucky enough to have lots of interesting places to ride, as well as having plenty of cycle parking facilities all across town and the surrounding areas of Leigh-on-Sea, Westcliff, Chalkwell and Shoebury. This makes it perfect whether you just want a short ride from Leigh to Shoebury or you want to travel around it all! There are always new places to explore, with new cycle paths and tracks popping up all across Southend and beyond.
If you simply want to get out there and riding, its a fantastic place to just give it a go. From sunny seafront to forest trails, long road runs to BMX tracks, you'll be able to experience top rides while enjoying the scenery. So why not try something a bit different, get out there and enjoy your town on a bike?

Shoebury Garrison is a unique area of national importance. Its history, archaeology and historic buildings, and its unique setting overlooking the mouth of the Thames Estuary with adjacent beaches, parkland and nature reserves make it a fascinating area to explore.
